Name: Penelope Rose Clara Gabor (called Penny for short)
Penelope - Possibly derived from Greek ðçíåëïø (penelops), a type of duck. Alternatively it could be related to ðçíç (pene) "threads, woof". In Homer's epic the 'Odyssey' this is the name of the wife of Odysseus, forced to fend off suitors while her husband is away fighting at Troy.
Rose - Originally a Norman form of a Germanic name, which was composed of the elements hrod "fame" and heid "kind, sort, type". It was introduced to England by the Normans in the forms Roese or Rohese. From an early date it was associated with the word for the fragrant flower rose (derived from Latin rosa).
Clara - Feminine form of the Late Latin name Clarus which meant "clear, bright, famous".

Overall Personality: Nora and James raised Penelope to not care what others think of her. Penny is a kind girl. She is the kind of person you can go and talk to about anything. She will try to help you and if she can’t she’ll get others to. She is the best friend anyone will ever have. She will go out of her way to be a good friend. She is very true to herself and won’t change herself to fit in or to get a man.
Penny's kind of shy when you first meet her and when you introduce yourself to her, she becomes very outgoing. She loves to write. She is a nice person. She doesn’t trust people to easily because of how her life has been so far.

History: Penelope Rose Clara Gabor was born on November 22nd to James and Nora Gabor in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her mother became very sick after she was born and remained that way until Penny was two, when she lost the battle. She was a happy child, growing up with a single father who had to read MANY books to figure out how to raise a daughter. Her dad got a job with the police department in Forks when she was ten and they moved there. Forks wasn't too plesant a place for a southern girl, especially at school when the kids made fun of her accent.
Penny passed through school quickly, having trouble in math almost every year but she managed. Durning her senior year of high school, her father became sick and passed away. She was left completely alone. She didn't want to go to college right away so she's taking a year (or so, since she doesn't know what she wants to be yet) off. She still misses her father and doesn't know if she'll ever leave Forks because she feels like there's where she could be close to him.

Penelope watched as the door open and she saw Federico sitting in a chair by the door. "Feder?" she asked, going to him and kneeling at his feet, leaving her shoes at the door. "Penelope,I cannot hide from you any longer. I was a fool to even try to." Penny's eyes became curious and he said that. "Hide what from me, Feder?" she asked. She watched as he leaned his head against the wall and she heard one word he said. Love... "It's been there for weeks and then this evening by the lake..." she said quietly, looking up into his eyes, "I've never done anything like this before." She looked down for a moment, tears forming in her eyes, When you ran from me, I was so angry with you, and with myself. At first, I thought if you went away, then I'd be happy but...I don't know how I could have been so ignorant about myself so... She looked up into his eyes, her eyes filled with tears, as she searched for the word she meant, "So stupid." She paused for a moment, her eyes searching his face. "You do know what I'm talking about, don't you?" She looked into his eyes and got her answer, "You knew before I did." Her eyes almost spilling over with tears.
