Rosalie was bored, that was certain. Emmett was off with Jasper, Bella and Edward hunting, Nessie was at school, Carlisle was at the hospital and she didn't know where Esme was. She sighed as tried to think of something to do. She realized that Alice was home too. Maybe Alice was bored too. Alice has great taste in fashion.... she thought. Maybe the "sisters" needed a shopping day. She went down to her "sister"'s room. "Hey Alice?" she said, popping her head inside the door, "Do you want to go to Seattle with me to go shopping?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Rosalie and Alice were in Rosalie's red convertible driving to Seattle. "Thanks for agreeing to come with me, Alice." Rose said, as she drove with a rare smile on her beautiful face. It was a warm day for Washington state so they had the top down and they blasted some song that they didn't know the name of and were singing along to. They were reaching the city limits of Seattle now and were quickly in the middle of the down town. "Where do you wanna start first, Alice?" Rose asked as she turned down the music to hear her "sister"'s responce.

Alice had been more than grateful when Rosalie poked her head into the room she shared with Jasper, having been going insane from boredom and wanting to go shopping anyway. Fall clothes were coming out, and she needed to restock Bella's closet. Otherwise, it would be done, and she'd be damned if she saw Bella go through another winter in sweats and flannel. Seriously, ew. How did people live like that?
It was also a rare show of sisterly affection for Rosalie. Not that she minded, of course. She jumped on any chance to have a girl's day (or night) out. Shopping was her drug, and ehr family fueled her addiction mercilessly. "When have I ever said no to shopping, Rose?" the smaller woman asked with a small smirk. "Besides, Bella needs new clothes, and you know she won't get them on her own. Now, as far as where to start..." She trailed off to think, scanning through the map of the Seattle mall she'd ingraned in her subconscious. "Hmmm ... Well, where do you think we should start? You organized the trip, you pick," Alice replied in a rare show of neutrality.

Rosalie smirked as she drove into the parking garage of the mall. She and Alice hadn't gone shopping together in a long time. Rose had missed it but she would be the last one to admit it. She pulled her red convertible swiftly into a parking spot. She put the top up and made sure the windows were up.
"When have I ever said no to shopping, Rose?" "True, Shortie." Rosalie said with a laugh, "The day you do will be the sign of the apocalypse." "Besides, Bella needs new clothes, and you know she won't get them on her own. Now, as far as where to start..." "That's true..." she answered and then waited for Alice's answer. "Hmmm ... Well, where do you think we should start? You organized the trip, you pick," Rose raised an eyebrow. "Okay..." she said as she thought, "Well, I honestly don't know...You probably know this mall better than me. Any store you like the best?"

Alice chuckled at the nickname, shaking her head gently. Emmett had rubbed off on her otherwise less-than-affectionate sister. "Oh, most definitely," she replied seriously. Really, not even the 80s slowed me down, and look at all the catastrophes that were born from that decade," was added in explanation with a shudder. Ugh, the eighties were horrible. Acid wash, neon colors, grunge... She was glad none of that would be making a return trip. It was awful.
She chuckled again as Rosalie avoided having to choose, her excuse most likely being true. Of the eight of them, Alice had spent the most time in the mall. Unless things had been rearranged, she knew this place better than she knew her own home. "Hmmm.... Well... I suppose we're closest to the bigger department stores. Maybe ... Oh, what the heck. We'll start at one end and work our way in a circle, hitting the stores that sound promising. Good?"
