Eye Color: Hazel
Hair Color: Brown

Anything Else? Nope
Overall Dress/Appearance: (At least a paragraph. This is completely optional. I personally hate having to write out detailed appearances, and won't require it on my site. however, if you're one of those people that likes those kind of thing, be my guest.)
The Demeanor
Overall Personality: As Artemis, Chris can almost seem completely different than his alter ego. As Artemis, he’s more braver, more confident, stronger. He feels as if he can do almost anything as Artemis, that he’s invincible. To criminals, he can seem down right scary because he believes his invincibility will save him.
As Chris, he doesn’t feel as invincible. He’s more careful and worries about keeping people such as Jane so near to him in fear something might happen to her or to him. He’s rather self-conscious, still feeling like a monster for being a Child Of The Moon, but he normally hides it, as he seems to do most emotions and has a tendency to draw into himself and ignore others.
He’s stubborn and will sometimes get so into a case he forgets what’s going on around him. In his mind, however, is a sense of justice. That the innocent should be saved and the criminals should go were they belong. He doesn’t believe in using violence unless needed and is sensitive to others feelings. He’s caring and would do anything to save someone he loved. He can seem like a rather serious person at times since he’s always worried about something it seems. But, he can be fun, especially with Jane, as he tries to give her the childhood she missed.
What is your character's deepest secret? His secret identity as Artemis Phos
What is your character's strongest desire? To one day find his best friend who disappeared so long ago
The Past
Family: Jim Metaxas-Dad
Morgan Metaxas-Mom
Jane Metaxas-Adopted daughter
Previous and Current Romantic Relationships: None
History: Chris grew up with a love for solving things, solving ‘cases’ as kid such as the case of the missing sock. His dad was a detective and from as long as Chris could remember, he wanted to grow up to be just like him. He wanted to solve mysteries like his dad did and help people solve the cases they needed solved.
Through school, he was not very popular. He was teased frequently, and soon became quiet and drew away from others until he met Lauren Thompson. She was an outgoing, tomboyish girl and he instantly befriended her and she taught him how he could defend himself against the bullies in school. She taught him how to be brave, how to be courageous. One night, however, she disappeared, never to be seen again.
No one knows how it happened. One day she went outside to jog and then she was just…gone. No one ever found her. Chris’ dad joined the searched and that gave Chris some hope because he believed his dad could solve any case and when his dad lost hope he did too, figuring his friend was gone and he would never see her again. He soon drew back inside himself again, not really talking to anyone.
In the meanwhile, neighbors had been hearing howling and growling at night and there were rumors a beast was loose, no one knew the kind of beast, but they did know that shortly after people have started to notice growling in the woods, people started turning up dead. One night Chris decided to go out in the woods to see what was going on, wanting to solve the case and something in his mind was suddenly thinking that if Lauren was out there she’d need help. He knew that was dumb because she wasn’t there, but out he went. He walked for a while, seeing nothing and soon he decided nothing was there when a beast suddenly jumped on him. The police, who had been checking the area, had heard his screams and helped get the beast off him. He wasn’t badly hurt except for a few bites and scratches.
After that day, he began noticing changes in himself. He was stronger, he was faster. At first he was very happy in these abilities, until one night there was a full moon and he suddenly had an uncontrollable thirst for flesh. He can’t remember that night, or any nights of being a wolf, for that matter, but he did know he killed people and that made him feel horrible, he felt like a monster. He had always wanted to be a hero like his dad, someone who helped people, not a monster. This made him yet again draw inside of himself and let his guilt eat him up.
One day, everything changed. One night, he was taking a walk and he heard screaming. He ran to see what was going on and saw a young woman who looked a bit like Lauren [not enough to mistake the woman for her, but enough to make Chris snap] being mugged by three guys. Using his newly acquired strength, he saved her and realized he could help people, he might be able to be a hero with all these new abilities. One day he made himself a costume and became Artemis Phos. He liked having another identity, with this identity, he felt braver, stronger; with his new identity he could be anyone he wanted to be.
Soon, he moved to Forks and got a job at Newton Outfitters and even found an unused warehouse to use as a hideout of sorts. One night when he patrolling the town, he heard a young girl screaming and saved her from some guys who were beating on her. He toke her home once he found out she had none and soon adopted her. He’s still trying to get used to the parenting thing after being alone for a long time, but he does try to make sure Jane is taken care of.

RP Sample: What a night, was all Chris could think as he walked up the stairs to check on the little girl that now occupied his room. As of now she didn’t know this was his room or even his house, he had had some second thoughts about bringing her to his house while he was Artemis, but his makeshift hideout [If you really wanted to call it that; it was really just a small, abandoned warehouse no one used anymore that he used to store some of his gadgets] had no bed or any place really comfy to sleep. Besides, this girl didn’t even know who Chris Metaxas was, so, he figured his identity wasn’t in any danger, unless one of his neighbors happened to see him carrying the little girl into his home. And, he had to take her somewhere. She didn’t have a home and from what he could tell no one was taking care of her at the moment. He remembered asking her right after he rescued her where she lived. She just stared at him and what struck him was, the eyes staring at him seemed too…mature to be the eyes of a little girl; she was shivering and it was obvious those men who had grabbed her had frightened her, but she stared at him through eyes that had seen more than he ever had at her age.
“This is where I live,” she said, motioning to the streets around them, “Do you have anyone taking care of you?” he asked, in shock such a little girl was living out here on her own. How had no one noticed and done anything? Did people really not notice? He knew people could be blind to other’s suffering, but this blind?
“My sister toke care of me,” she said, her eyes and voice softening, “But she died last year.”
He then knew what he had to do; he toke her to his home and let her sleep in his room. What he was going to do now, he still wasn’t sure of. He remembered her asking him, “Where am I going to go?” as if she fully expected him to toss her back on the streets. What kind of life had she lived, he wondered, where she expected people to toss her out? What was it like to lose everything? He had lost a friend, but never his parents, never his home. He always had his parents to help him when Lauren disappeared. He couldn’t possibly imagine what it would it would be like for everything to just be gone and have no one to turn to.
As he walked up the stairs to check up on her, he heard whispering. He crept to the half-open door to his room and peeked his head in, where Jane was now sitting on the window ledge, looking out, it seemed, way beyond the night sky.
“Oh Taylor,” she said with a sigh, “It just doesn’t seem fair…that I’m sleeping in a nice warm bed tonight and you aren’t. I mean…you deserve that much, at least. I wish you were here with me; I wish you could be suspicious of Artemis and snap at him if you felt he said something out of line,” she said with a small giggle in her voice, “I wish you could yell that you had everything under your control and could’ve stop those guys yourself. I wish…I wish you could hug me like you used to; I wish you were here to sing me to sleep. Are you ok, wherever you are? I hope you’re listening, I hope you know I love you more than anything. I hope you know I think you of you every day.” Jane sighed sadly and feel asleep right there on the window ledge.
Chris listened to girl‘s words, his heart breaking for the young child. He could remember himself, a few months after Lauren’s mysterious disappearance, talking to her at night, as if she could here, wishing that she would just come back; wishing some magic force would make her reappear. But, this girl was so young, she shouldn’t have to be dealing with all of this.
He gently toke Jane off the window ledge and tucked her into bed. He suddenly thought it’d almost seem cruel to whisk her off to an orphanage or to foster parents and it seemed he didn’t want to. He didn’t know if it were possible to form a bond with someone after only an hour or so of knowing them, but somehow he had formed a connection with Jane after only knowing her for an hour and somehow he cared enough to not want to send her off to some orphanage.
