Dear Diary,
I found that note today, tucked in my dresser while cleaning out my room at Charlie's. It was the first time I'd thought about him in nearly three years. Since the day he left, left me laying on the forest floor. And for a moment, I think I missed him. But how could it? I waited three years, so sure he was going to show up one day, sweep me off my feet like nothing ever happened. And then, I gave up. He wasn't coming back. And Jacob. He was there, through it all he was holding my hand. And he never left. Never once would he even think of hurting me. Leaving me. And being with him, it made me realize all the things that were wrong with Edward and I. It wasn't natural. It was unhealthy. And where I am now, its...its great.

Jacob proposed today. And of course it only made sense for me to accept. I love him, more than anything. And he loves me. It was meant to be all along. I guess, if I should ever have the chance, I would thank Edward for leaving. It made all this happen. Thank you Edward Cullen, wherever you are.

I'm pregnant. Jacob is overjoyed, we both are. I'm a little shocked actually. Its hard to believe in just nine months, I'm going to be a mother to a beautiful little baby with tanned russet skin and bright brown eyes. I'm kinda hoping for a boy so he can look like Jake. But, something's out of place. I can't put my finger on it, but its always there. The feeling that something is wrong. But, there is no reason for it. I am the happiest I've ever been. I have Jacob, my family, a baby on the way...What else could I need?

Dear Diary,
Jacob imprinted. On a twelve year old girl that just moved to La Push. It was all so sudden. He said he couldn't help it, and I know that. The thing is, it took him two months to tell me. I was oblivious for two months that my husband was in love with a twelve year old. I've been through this before. But, that doesn't change how much it hurts. I'm moving back in with Charlie. He's all I have left.

MEANWHILE...
The Cullens have returned, a year after Bella's marriage to Jacob. Edward, crushed by the news, still returns to pay his respects to Bella and Jacob, unsure if he should be glad his plan worked, or devastated. He finds Bella five months pregnant and noticeably happy with Jacob. Albeit all Edward wants is for Bella to be happy, without him, he still feels the need to stick around. Just in case. And then, Jacob imprints, leaving Bella to wallow in her misery, eight months pregnant.
And if that wasn't enough, the Volturi have become suddenly aware of the growing Quileute wolf population, the rise due to the return of their enemies. Not sure what action to take, considering they've never delt with the species before, they plan to gather their entire guard, taking extra precautions. Though their date of departure is unclear as Alice continues to search. She begins to worry it is her fault, that she is loosing her ability. Of course, the Cullens blow it off as simply indecisiveness on the Volturi's part. Until Edward's voices begin to fade, Emmett grows weaker, Jasper looses his grasp on emotion, spiraling himself into an emotion breakdown.
It turns out the the wolves are evolving, adjusting to their enemies' strengths, somehow weakening them by simply existing. The Cullens are torn, their only hope to leave Forks once again, but Edward refuses. No matter if Bella still loved him or not, he wasn't leaving her again. Now it was his turn to be the sun.
