Nessie's temper was sparked as her father yelled at her, eyes narrowing and arms crossing over her chest. "Yeah, for your information, it was that bad. I can't stand listening to you two tear each other apart over the stupid things that you do, and I honestly didn't think you'd even notice I was gone. You barely pay attention to me anymore anyway," she shot back, honestly a litle hurt by this. At his growling, Nessie stalked past her father, thinking he was being ridiculous.
"Don't worry about it, Jake. I'll take the fall for it, he doesn't need to be shouting at you." She knew he'd argue with her over that, but she also knew that if she put her foot down hard enough he'd give in and let her have her way. Finding a secluded place outside the club, she turned on her heel and glared right back a her father. "Yeah, and I expect maturity out of you too. You're right, I'm not a baby anymore, and I'm entitled to go out of the house every now and then so long as I'm not hurting anyone. You know me well enough to know that I'm not gonna do anything stupid, and know Jake well enough to know that he's not gonna let anything happen to me. I don't understand why you're making such a big deal out of this."
