Note: These are not guidelines. Please follow these rules so we can all have a good time. 
Basic Rules
(We all need the reminder to keep your hands to yourself, right?)
1. Treat every member with respect. If your characters have issues, that's one thing, but I'd prefer we didn't have a bunch of drama outside the rp. If you have a problem with a particular member, or feel you're being bullied or ignored, don't hesitate to let me know. Situations will be handled before they get out of control.
2. I will not tolerate discrimination of any kind, for whatever reason. If you cannot at least tolerate a different viewpoint from your own, I can tell you right now you'd be wasting your time in joining this site. Anyone who is hostile toward another member or harasses another member based on his/her own personal life will be banned without hesitation.
3. The c-box is provided for chatter outside roleplay. While venting is encouraged to keep from any volcanoes popping up, don't take your bad day out on another person. I really don't want to take away the c-box, but if fights occur and become frequent, I will.
Posting Rules
(Help me help you!)
1. I realize we have off days, and sometimes we just can't write gargantuous posts. This is fine, and you certainly won't get in trouble for it. Lord knows I'd be the biggest hypocrite if I got onto people for short posts or museless days. However, I'd like to keep an average of at least two paragraphs a post (6-8 sentences). I'm not going to give a word count or anything, 'cause that's just ridiculous, but y'all should be able to judge what's long enough. If I feel you need to step it up a little, I'll let you know.
2. Posts should be written in 3rd person, past tense. If you're confused as to what I mean, drop me a PM and I'll be happy to explain it.
3. Please try and post once a week at the very least. Real life obviously takes precidence over the rp, but let's try not to leave plots hanging. If you know you're going to be gone for an extended period of time, let us know in the absence board.
4. On the other hand, say three people are in a thread together and poster number 2 hasn't been on for awhile. Posters 1 and 3 shouldn't take it upon themselves to carry the thread on for twelve more pages. Not only is it terribly rude and impatient, it makes it difficult for poster number 2 to catch up.
5. I will certainly not deny your characters the right to a steamy night together every now and then. However, not all of us may want to know every detail of said night, so a warning would be loverly. Please mark the title with an R or Xs to let us know to read with caution.
Random Tidbits of Info
1. While you don't ahve to go all out and make such an amazing signature we're blinded, it'd be nice if we had something to go by so we can better imagine the character when posting. At least a 100x100 avatar is required. And, also, let's use common sense as for the size of the signature. If it stretches the board, it's too big. (I'd give a specific size, but I'm not goo with those things and have no clue! xD) Also, if you'd like to set up a graphics shop, or help me out with finding skins and such for the forum, please let me know.
2. Original characters are more than welcome! However, I'd like to try and get as many of the canons as possible first, for the sake of the plot. Also, let's try and keep the ratios of boys and girls even, please.
